Watching Expenses shows several budgeting screens, makes it possible to review specific expenses on a monthly and yearly basis
You decide what sectors (food, clothing, entertainment, medical, etc.) to track. You decide on sectors based on a provided list. You also decide on specific companies you trade with. Doing so allows you to look at the Food sector as a total and then look at the total for each grocery store that you enter. Review each by the month and year.
We go step by step through the program illustrating how it works. Examples are included where we believe needed. However, the program has been designed so that it is intuitive and easy-to-learn and use. with your computer already on, you can make a typical expense entry in a minute or two and have undated results at that time.

The company is led by James Backus, a graduate of Bryant College, now Bryant University, and uses several consultants. Jim graduated with a BS in Business Administration with a fair amount of accounting included.
Jim was in the Marine Corps, was a yacht designer who worked for Pearson Yachts, before working for Robert H. Perry in Seattle, Washington. As an independent designer he did work for Skookum Boats, Glas-Ply, Lord Nelson Yachts, Passagemaker Yachts, and others.
Jim was also president of Westlawn Schooi of Yacht Design before it was taken over by American Boat and Yacht Council.
